Lecture: Conflict as a driving force for social cohesion

There is a growing sense that we are living in a society where tensions, aggression and disagreements can easily escalate into confrontation.
Do our feelings reflect reality?
During this talk, we will attempt to identify the sense of insecurity, analyse its causes, and find ways to prevent and resolve conflicts. To guide us, we will draw on the experience of Jean-Baptiste Chédas, Police Commander at Rochefort Police Station and Security Officer, who has become a trainer in the Management of Aggressive Behaviour and Conflict De-escalation following training with the RAID Negotiators’ Group.
