Church Notre Dame

Built in the 12th century, it is one of the most well-known Romanesque churches that have made the Saintonge famous.
You can admire its richly decorated and carved portal that was restored in 2011.
Among the remarkable decorations, the capital to the left of the portal which represents the "great ghoul", the legendary dragon but also the modillons.
Musicians, archery, juggler, fabulous animals receive you.
Equally remarkable, its elegant apse, the capitals of the three windows and its seigneurial chapels.
