Acad’ÔChœur Concert: Bringing Magic Back to the World

Under the direction of Mathias Charton, accompanied on the piano by Hélène Bonnet, the 56 young singers invite the audience on an intense, sensitive and profoundly contemporary musical journey.
‘Réenchanter le monde’ is a concert that speaks to our times: of its wounds, its aspirations, its dreams and its capacity to rediscover meaning. Across cultures, languages and musical styles, Acad’ÔChœur conveys a single conviction: music can still bring us together, move us and help us look to the future with hope.
Winner of a silver medal at the Lisbon Sings international competition in November 2022, and two first prizes with honours at the EMJ Festival in Neerpelt (Belgium) in 2024 and 2026, Acad’ÔChœur brings together young singers from school choirs across the four departments of the Poitiers Academy. Aged between 11 and 18, these wonderful teenagers tackle a rich and varied contemporary repertoire, which they perform with enthusiasm and energy.
