Acad’ÔChœur — Réenchanter le monde

Acad’ÔChœur invites you to join them on Thursday 22 October 2026 at 8.00 pm, at Saint-Louis Church in Rochefort, for a concert in which young people bring together memory, creativity and contemporary music.

Under the direction of Mathias Charton, the young singers of the Poitiers Academy’s teenage choir present a musical journey through the shadows of the world, paving the way towards hope. From *Le Chant des partisans* to *L’Enfer*, from *Les Djinns* to *Chanson de la guerre*, the voices evoke resistance, torment and human fragility. Mironczarnia, Second Souffle, Here Comes a River and Apple Tree enrich this journey with their unique worlds.
With *Locus Iste* and *Baba Yetu*, the programme invites reflection and shared experience, before regaining energy with the *Daft Punk Medley* and concluding with *Forever Young*.
A multiple award-winner at the Neerpelt International Festival, Acad’ÔChœur combines musical excellence, commitment and the joy of singing together. A concert to enjoy with family or friends, showcasing the full diversity of choral singing and the power of young voices.
A moment of shared experience not to be missed!
