Discover the Hèbre Museum and its remarkable collections! Founded in the second half of the 19th century and renovated in 2006, the Hèbre Museum, with its strikingly modern architecture, houses collections ranging from fine arts to non-European ethnology. Collections of artefacts from Oceania, Africa and Asia bear witness to the extensive exchanges between this maritime city and the wider world. On the ground floor, the CIAP (Centre for the Interpretation of Architecture and Heritage) provides the keys to understanding the town and its development, thanks to the spectacular relief map of Rochefort, created in 1835.
