  • Free screening exploring the world of Jacques Demy will be held this summer, to mark the 60th anniversary of the filming of *The Young Ladies of Rochefort* and in partnership with the FAR (Audiovisual Research Fund).

    In Beaugeay, from 9.15 pm, Jacques Demy’s film “The Most Important Event Since Man Walked on the Moon” will be screened.
    Before the screening, there will be a presentation of short films made as part of the “CLAP! Dance and Cinema” residency, led by the Volubilis company...

    Before the screening, there will be a presentation of short films made as part of the “CLAP! Dance and Cinema” residency, led by the Volubilis company across the CARO region in collaboration with the school in Saint-Froult, the residents of Moëze, the residents of the Saint-Agnant care home and the children at the SEJI.

    A picnic from 8pm, a few deckchairs, a giant screen: come and enjoy the balmy summer evening watching a film al fresco and, whilst you’re at it, discover the local audiovisual scene. Make yourself comfortable for a film night under the stars.
