Formed in 2013 in Lyon, NOT SCIENTISTS comprises musicians from iconic bands such as Uncommonmenfrommars and No Guts No Glory.
Performed in English, their songs are characterised by a combination of catchy and sophisticated melodies.
The guitars alternate between clean tones and crunchy riffs, backed by a rhythm section that is both solid and flexible. This unique musical approach and their intense live performances have enabled the band to quickly make a name for themselves not only in France but across Europe.
Ever since the band’s formation, NOT SCIENTISTS have attracted the interest of the French and international specialist press, whilst building a loyal following of a wide audience always ready to get stuck in and support their album releases and live performances.
From EPs to venues and festivals, the four friends demonstrate that energy comes from the heart you put into your music.

Formed in 2019, this band from the Charente region draws its influences from French-speaking bands of the early 2000s (Justin(e), Vulgaires Machins…) and from classics of the American alternative scene (NOFX and Bad Religion).
In concert, the quartet perform the 11 tracks from their debut album, released in August 2025, with a sense of urgency and intensity. Their energy is infectious and their good humour contagious, set against a backdrop of socially conscious lyrics that bitterly bear witness to a deteriorating everyday life.
