Conference: Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show in Rochefort

The Wild West Show was not just entertainment, but a gigantic theatrical re-enactment of the conquest of the West. For the people of Rochefort at the time, this day was a unique opportunity to see a series of epic and spectacular tableaux vivants featuring characters and scenes, some real, some fictional, involving cowboys, Indians, stagecoach attacks and battle re-enactments.
