What if hand games, playground challenges and the first bursts of laughter became a choreography? While observing his daughter, Anthony Égéa marvelled at the inventiveness of these childlike rituals, so simple in appearance. Here he draws on childhood memories to compose a show where hip-hop dance reveals all the poetry of gestures and play.
On stage, two mischievous young dancers invent a world out of almost nothing. A look, a 'check', a run, a challenge... The bodies respond to each other, tame each other, move away and then find each other again. Over the course of their games inspired by 'shifumi' or 'one, two, three sun', complicity, curiosity, disagreements, friendship and the first emotions are born.
Energized by a lively and sensitive, fresh and spontaneous choreographic writing, this creation transforms everyday gestures into a universal language. Accompanied by percussive rhythms, the movements accelerate, deform, reinvent themselves with the energy and freedom of hip-hop and breakdance from which the two performers come. A sparkling show, which awakens the child in each of us.
