This folk dance group, dressed in the traditional costumes and headdresses of the towns of Aunis and Saintonge, will share the traditions and culture of the Charente region with you

Les Échardrits de Charente, an association founded in 1976, offers a range of activities: folk dance workshops open to all, a sewing workshop, and also runs an eco-museum (exhibiting traditional Saintonge headdresses, costumes and artefacts). Free entry on Wednesdays from 2.00 pm to 5.30 pm.

7.30 pm – 9.00 pm: Sewing, Embroidery, Basket Weaving and a Dialect Evening

Bring your needles, share your stories and your local dialect… to rediscover the skills and conviviality of evenings of yesteryear around a majestic plane tree!
