European Heritage Days at the Corderie Royale

The Corderie Royale – International Maritime Centre welcomes you to immerse yourself in a unique architectural heritage in the heart of Rochefort.
Through the permanent exhibition ‘La Corderie: a life of workshops’, discover the daily life of rope makers and the strategic role of this historic building.

The temporary exhibition ‘Charente Atlantique’ by Nicolas Floc'h enriches the experience: a visual dialogue between black and white underwater landscapes and colour photographs of the Charente River and the Atlantic Ocean.

Take part in the ‘40 years / 40 posters’ competition by voting for your favourite exhibition poster as part of the Centre International de la Mer's 40th anniversary celebrations.

Finally, Benjamin Caillaud's exhibition ‘L'Odyssée de l'estuaire’ (The Odyssey of the Estuary), presented at the Les Longitudes restaurant, offers a sensitive photographic view of the Atlantic coastline through the themes of landscape and natural resources.
