Nature and Wellbeing Festival

For the 5th edition of the Fête de la Nature at Les Gites Beaulieu, the day will be dedicated to reconnecting with our environment. Learn about nature from biodiversity experts, and enjoy and recharge your batteries through art and wellness workshops.

Walks and biodiversity observations:
10am–12.30pm: a walk through the hills and marshes to discover the local flora and fauna with “OBIOS”; booking required
2pm–4pm: the history of the white stork and its scientific monitoring in Charente-Maritime with Mr BARBRAUD; booking required

And all day long...
Sheep farming on the slopes of the Brouage marshes and wool processing with “J’aime ma laine” (sorting fleeces, carding with a carding machine, spinning on a spinning wheel, plant-based dyeing, weaving)
Creative workshops: watercolour painting, creating plant-based mandalas, recycled papier-mâché, intuitive drawing, alchemical cyanotype
Reconnecting with nature through wellness programmes: forest bathing, yoga, meditation, sound relaxation, symbolic medicine, constellation work
Free activities for all ages, on-site catering, food truck, artisanal ice cream, sale of stones, jewellery, mobiles, essential oils, herbal teas, herbal remedies, ...
