Film screening and discussion: Les petits mâles

‘Les petits mâles’ gives a voice to around thirty boys aged between 7 and 18, met across France and from all walks of life, and asks them about current issues such as: physical appearance and aesthetic pressures, love and friendship, sexism and sexual violence, gender fluidity and the rights of LGBTQIA+ people.
Echoing their words, women old enough to be their grandmothers recount their life stories, speaking of the ‘men of yesterday’. The contrast with the boys – the men of tomorrow – reveals the scale of the changes currently taking place.
Following the screening, there will be an opportunity for discussion.
