Film screening and discussion: No Land’s Song

In Iran, since the 1979 revolution, women have been banned from singing in public as soloists.
A young composer, Sara Najafi, with the help of three artists from France (Elise Caron, Jeanne Cherhal and Emel Mathlouthi), is set to defy censorship and taboos in an attempt to organise a concert featuring female solo singers.
Following the screening, there will be an opportunity for discussion.
