Green November 2026 – Circular Economy Month

Novembre Vert returns in November 2026 across the Rochefort Océan Urban Community (CARO) for its 5th edition, with a programme of events dedicated to the ecological transition, reuse and responsible consumption.
A wide range of activities will be on offer across several towns: creative and repair workshops, making items from recycled materials, recycling, upcycling, sewing, second-hand sales and bartering.
The programme also includes talks, tours of waste treatment and drinking water production facilities, and activities focusing on composting, reducing food waste and sustainable transport.
Friendly events, local farmers’ markets, charity sales and free access areas encourage residents to adopt more frugal and environmentally friendly practices.
Open to a wide range of people, particularly families and children, Green November promotes local initiatives, key players in the circular economy and the sharing of skills.
