Instant Famille : Family fishing trip

An introduction to best practice in recreational shore fishing, led by a guide.

On the rocky foreshore of the Passe aux Filles on Île Madame, within a magnificent and protected natural site.
We set off to observe the creatures that live here: crabs, periwinkles, anemones, oysters, limpets and so on.

We’ll explore their way of life, which is dictated by the tides, and their ability to adapt.
We’ll also learn the rules of recreational shore fishing that respect the environment.
We’ll release our catch back into the water.

Equipment (landing nets, buckets, educational leaflets, magnifying glasses) is provided.
Please bring wellies or, at the very least, closed-toe shoes that can get wet.
