7pm: Fred Dupin “Valve Trombone”
In the spirit of musical dialogue, Fred Dupin explores a repertoire blending reworked standards and original compositions. His nuanced playing pays homage to the West Coast jazz aesthetic, combining harmonic finesse, subtle interaction and the freedom of improvisation. The music breathes, takes its time, and invites you to listen. There is a sense of intimacy, as if the musicians were playing just for you, in your living room. A bubble of sonic poetry, accessible to all, where you simply need to let yourself be carried away… It feels good!
