Art and culture in Saintonge

From 12 noon, the meadow will open its gates and, at 2 pm, will welcome “Les Gaillardes”, a travelling theatre troupe on bicycles, followed by a musical reading at 3.30 pm, a drawing session with the Urban Sketchers at 5 pm, and a performance by the folk dance troupe “Les Echardrits” at 6.30 pm.

From 7.30 pm, a participatory evening of conviviality and traditions will begin: sewing, embroidery, basket weaving and a dialect-speaking evening featuring fables from the Saintonge region. Bring your needles, share your stories and your local dialect… to rediscover the traditions and conviviality of evenings of yesteryear around a majestic plane tree!
