The Field of Possibilities is a theatrical journey, both intimate and universal, written, directed and performed by Elise Noiraud. Success of the Festival Off d'Avignon in 2019, nominated for the Molières in 2022 in the 'Alone.e. On stage', the show speaks to each of us, with finesse and humanity.

With her baccalaureate in hand, Élise left her family for Paris, with dreams of freedom and literary studies in mind. From there, she weaves the story of her youth, the conquest of autonomy and self-discovery. A quest that explores the winding paths of commitment to adult life, the chaotic impulses of the heart and the weight of uprooting.

Elise is not really alone on stage. To accompany her, she composes a gallery of fifteen characters, embodied with stunning energy. Among them, his mother, both loving and suffocating, stands out in the foreground. His playing restores as much what is said as what is silenced.

Written to the letter, this 'plural' monologue full of self-mockery delivers a subtle observation of our family and friend relationships, of our inner constructions, between filial injunctions and the desire for emancipation.
