Architecture Spring: The former Naval Hospital – towards a new lease of life

As the first hospital in France to be built in a detached-house style, it served as a model for many years.
After lying derelict for many years, this historic building is set to be given a new lease of life. The renovation project now getting underway marks a significant milestone in the history of Rochefort’s heritage revival, within an area protected by the PSMV.
