Jazz Wednesdays - Rochefort

Jazz Wednesdays invite you to (re)discover the town of Rochefort.

On the programme:

6:00 PM – Discovery of the Chante-Alouette neighbourhood. A time for sharing and learning about the history of the district will be offered on site, with the participation of the Chante-Alouette Neighbourhood Council, the association Les Potes Agers, and the Chante-Alouette residents’ association. 7:00 PM – Concert: “The Gentle Art Of Bass”. The trio The Gentle Art Of Bass invites you to explore jazz through the great double bass players who helped shape its history. Paul Chambers, Ray Brown, Oscar Pettiford and Christian McBride will be featured, with generous space also given to piano and drums. The result: music full of energy, urgency, and a bold, irreverent sense of freedom.
