Ema Yazurlo & Quilombo Sonoro
Nu-Cumbia
Ema Yazurlo is one of the pioneers of Nu-Cumbia, a fusion of South American musical traditions and electronic music. His band, Quilombo Sonoro, brings a dynamic personality and breathtaking energy, inventing its own folklore by weaving new rhythms and incorporating original sounds (charango, cuatro, accordion, percussion) with hints of dancehall and electro-swing.
Latin American instruments such as the ronronco and timbales, along with electronic and ancestral sounds, intertwine to create a vibrant blend of sunny, festive music that gets you dancing to cumbia electro-swing rhythms. Contemporary songs inspired by tradition, yet filled with hope!

In August 1900, having just returned from Persia, Loti sets off again for China aboard the Redoutable, joining the international fleet engaged in the Boxer Rebellion. This would become the book “The Last Days of Beijing”.
