Join us on the media centre’s terrace for ‘Les Lectures Vue Mer’! Every Wednesday at 5 pm in July and August, settle into a deckchair and let yourself be carried away by tales of adventure, poetry or music.

On the programme:

- July 8 - Isabelle Pradeau, Xavier San Miguel on sax, Suzanne storyteller. Readings in connection with the summer exhibition of the Médiathèque, Vagabondages d'encre et d'eau by Francine Minvielle.

- July 15 - Anne-Lise Landureau. Readings in connection with the exhibition Place Carnot and book Les Plaisirs et les jours and interview with Véronique Maumy.

- July 22 - Montoridot Theatre Festival Troupe. Reading of a tale, Le Merveilleux Destin de la Princesse Constantin by Madame de Murat (17th century novelist), a one-act farce by the playwright René de Obaldia and an excerpt from the play Frères Humains qui après nous vivez, an original play in alexandrines written by Louis Certain, and inspired by the work of Brigitte Fontaine.

- July 29 - Caro Logan. Detective novels, Le Ventre de l'Atlantique and the sequel Les Disparus de l'île Madame (same couple of investigators).

- August 5 - Mr Caperan and Jean-Yves Wissing. Poetic conversation.

- August 12 - Isabelle Pradeau, Xavier San Miguel on sax, Suzanne storyteller. Readings in connection with the summer exhibition of the Médiathèque, Vagabondages d'encre et d'eau by Francine Minvielle and interview with Véronique Maumy.

- August 19 - Poetry

- August 26 - Corine Valade. Historical novels, Noé, l'enfant de la liberté on the rights of the child in the 19th century and Danse Néomaye danse! , on the American presence in our region and the reconstruction of Royan.
