Show: Picnic Mokett

The weather forecast promises a glorious day, perfect for a picnic.
Mr and Mrs Mokett, who are usually safely tucked away at home, decide to step outside. But no sooner have they opened the door than they are overwhelmed: din, conflicting messages, oppressive news. The outside world assails them.
They retreat and set up their picnic… in the living room. But peace still eludes them: the ‘Tuyauphone’. This constant link to the outside world continues to broadcast voices, orders and complaints. Then, the setting comes to life. Objects spring to life, observe and, with a touch of mischief, transform this chaos into fables, revealing the absurdity of a world saturated with rules and invisible power dynamics.
Then comes the turning point: a simple, almost playful gesture – unplugging the “Tuyauphone”. And for the first time, Mr and Mrs Mokett truly step outside.
Not to flee, but to create.
