  • Claire Diterzi, a free-spirited and iconoclastic singer and musician, is blazing her own unique trail. For this new creation, she is accompanied by three opera singers and a musician-visual artist. The story begins where Tolstoy's novel ends, with the death of Anna Karenina. She leads us in the footsteps of Anny, her daughter, creating a total spectacle that combines song, music, theatre and video. Brilliant.

Claire Diterzi, a free-spirited and iconoclastic singer and musician, is blazing her own unique trail. For this new creation, she is accompanied by three opera singers and a musician-visual artist. The story begins where Tolstoy's novel ends, with the death of Anna Karenina. She leads us in the footsteps of Anny, her daughter, creating a total spectacle that combines song, music, theatre and video. Brilliant.

On board the Trans-Siberian Railway, Claire Diterzi reread Tolstoy's book telling the story of Anna Karenina. In it, the famous heroine gives birth to a child, the fruit of her adulterous affair with Count Vronsky. In this voluminous novel, only a few lines mention the existence of this little girl named Anna, but whom her mother nicknames Annie.

Claire Diterzi, giving free rein to her imagination, imagines the story of Anny, “daughter of”, and takes us on a whimsical journey, where she plays the role of her ghostly mother. We follow the young woman as she travels through time and countries, accompanied by an Orthodox choir that is not really Orthodox, to end up in France with the hope of fulfilling her dream: to become a rock drummer! This extraordinary journey resonates as a formidable quest for female and collective emancipation.

With Anny Karénine, daughter of, she arrives at La Coupe d'Or with a show and an eponymous album, accompanied by an artistic team with an exceptional a cappella sound palette. Once again, she offers us an inventive and ambitious musical theatre experience.
