What if going to the Far North also meant going to meet yourself? Freely inspired by Jack London's famous adventure novel, Nicolas Bonneau and Fanny Chériaux reinvent a vibrant fiction where theatre, music and images take us to the heart of an adventure as spectacular as it is intimate.

Loosely based on Jack London's masterpiece, The Call of the Wild is much more than an adaptation: it is a sensitive and contemporary reinvention, where the adventure story becomes a quest for identity.
After the success of their previous musical story Monte-Cristo, Nicolas Bonneau and Fanny Chériaux bring this wild epic to the stage, between theatre, music and visual creation. Buck, a robust domestic dog, is brutally torn from his peaceful life, kidnapped and sold as a sled dog at the time of the Gold Rush. Projected into the icy immensity of the Yukon, he discovers a world governed by violence, where only the law of clubs and fangs prevails. To survive, he will have to awaken the instinct buried deep within him.
On stage, the tale unfolds in an immersive universe. Nicolas Bonneau's narration, Fanny Chériaux's original compositions, between ancestral songs, folk and northern flights, combined with images created live by Alexandre Machefel, make up a sensory experience of great power. The scenography creates a dialogue between the wide open spaces of the Far North and Buck's interior landscapes, giving this adventure a profoundly human resonance. Through this animal fable, it is our own relationship to freedom, to the living, to solidarity and to the wild part that inhabits us that emerges. A poetic, musical and visual journey, as spectacular as it is moving, to share with the family from the age of ten.
