Tonnay celebrates summer and music with its market

Come and wander amongst the stalls decked out in seasonal colours at the festive summer market organised by Tonnay-Charente Town Hall, discover local produce, sample new flavours and enjoy a friendly, lively atmosphere.

Open to all, with free entry, this event is the perfect opportunity to (re)discover the Sunday market, support local traders and producers, and share a warm moment with family or friends.

Exceptionally, the festivities will continue throughout the day on the quays with entertainment, on-site catering and designated areas where you can settle down and make the most of this pleasant setting, celebrating the Fête de la Musique together.

From 10am to 5pm, an open-air stage will welcome musicians, singers and bands—both amateurs and enthusiasts—eager to share their musical world in a festive atmosphere. Sound engineering will be provided by Jean-Pierre Thuillier.

The afternoon will conclude with a mini-disco specially designed for children aged 2 to 6, followed by a gourmet snack to the delight of families.
