Guided tour of the nacelier

The gondola pilotof the last transporter bridge in France will guide you from one bank of the Charente River to the other. He will share many stories and anecdotes from the crossings. He will lead you to the "Maison du Transbordeur" on the Échillais side.

The guided tour is a 1 hour and 15 minute walk-through, mostly standing. It includes a round-trip crossing on the gondola, a visit to the "Maison du Transbordeur," and commentary from the pilot.

The tour starts at 3:00 PM on the Rochefort side, near the reception area of the "Terrasses du Transbordeur." Please arrive 15 minutes early.
