7th edition of the "remontée de l'Estuaire de la Charente

  • The Rotary Club Tonnay Charente Estuaire is pleased to announce the 7ᵉ edition of the Remontée de l'Estuaire de la Charente.

    This event, now firmly established as one of our region's solidarity and festive events, is a friendly, eco-responsible and above all deeply supportive water ride, placed under our motto:
    ‘Together in the fight against disability’.

    Thanks to the efforts of participants, volunteers and our partners, the profits from each event are donated in full to projects...
    The Rotary Club Tonnay Charente Estuaire is pleased to announce the 7ᵉ edition of the Remontée de l'Estuaire de la Charente.

    This event, now firmly established as one of our region's solidarity and festive events, is a friendly, eco-responsible and above all deeply supportive water ride, placed under our motto:
    ‘Together in the fight against disability’.

    Thanks to the efforts of participants, volunteers and our partners, the profits from each event are donated in full to projects promoting accessibility for people with disabilities.

    This year, all proceeds will go to support the Notre Little Louis charity.
    Water trail: Kayak 14km - Paddle
    Land trail: 15km bike ride - Joelette

    Start: Soubise (harbour slipway) at 3pm
    Finish: Tonnay-Charente, Parc des Capucins (slipway of the sailing club).

    Here are just a few examples of the actions we have taken: Co-financing of a nautical hoist for the Rochefort nautical club, Co-financing of a joëlette for the Tonnay-Charente Running Club (RCTAT), a bathing chair for the commune of Port des Barques, an adapted chair for Rose (Le Rêve de Rose association), support for Véronique Prouteau, paracanoe & handi-fly athlete, involved in the Marathon pour Tous - Paris 2024.
