Archaeology workshop and excavation activities for children

Workshop to introduce children aged 6 to 12 to archaeology on a reconstructed excavation site at the foot of the Vauban fort keep, for a journey back in time to the Middle Ages.
Children dig using a full set of tools, uncover artefacts, and reflect on their appearance and function. They formulate hypotheses, draw their findings—just like real archaeologists.
