The aim of precision flying competitions is to measure pilots' ability to:
* prepare a precise navigation plan without electronic aids;
* follow a precise flight path;
* to strictly adhere to schedules;
* to look outside the aircraft and observe the environment;
* to land within a short and narrow area marked out on a normal runway.
