Jazz Wednesdays invite you to (re)discover the commune of Saint-Hippolyte.

On the programme:

From 4:00 PM – Exhibition “Beyond the Tap: Water Challenges in Charente-Maritime”. The water company of Saint-Hippolyte, Eau 17, presents an exhibition to help you understand where the water we consume comes from, how it is managed across the region, and how we can preserve it in our daily lives. Free access – behind the church.

7:00 PM – Concert: Christophe Duplan – “Jazz Songs”. Christophe Duplan brings a music that breaks boundaries. With a sensitive voice, he shares his blues through his own lyrics or those of others — no matter whose, music is his lifeline, whether it’s Latin, jazz, or chanson. His artistic approach gives a central role to creation and improvisation. Standards, original songs and compositions are revisited, reinterpreted, recreated as if from the same source, blending jazz with popular music. Christophe surrounds himself with talented and close-knit musicians to bring this vision to life.
