Espèce d'Estran is a regional cultural project led by the Collectif Serres, covering the Gironde Estuary and Pertuis Sea Marine Nature Park.
From early 2024 until late 2025, artists and mediators from the collective have been exploring this area to offer three unique perspectives: the immersive exhibition Le peuple des algues (The People of the Algae), which explores the connection between the human world and the world of algae; the show Borderline, the result of a 100-day walk along the park's 1,000 km coastline; and a 90-minute naturalist DJ set on the theme of the underwater and marine world.
