    In 1894, Pierre Loti decided to travel to the Holy Land. Passing through Mount Sinai, Jerusalem and Nazareth, he secretly hoped to rediscover his lost faith, but the journey turned out to be a ‘disappointing pilgrimage’. He brought back three books from his trip: ‘The Desert’, “Jerusalem” and ‘Galilee’, which we invite you to discover.
