  • The Office Français de la Biodiversité (OFB) is presenting a photographic exhibition of the Gironde Estuary and Pertuis Sea Marine Park at Espace Nature.
    This 6,500km2 marine protected area stretches along 113 municipalities in the Charente-Maritime, Vendée and Gironde regions over more than 1,300km of coastline, and extends up into six estuaries, including the Charente, as far as Tonnay-Charente. It extends out to sea for 30 kilometres, down to depths of around fifty metres.
