His career has been marked by numerous collaborations with artists such as Bojan Z, Carl Craig, Jeanne Cherhal, Francesco Tristano, Murcof and Kery James.
After enriching his repertoire with six albums, in the summer of 2024, the artist recorded an introspective work in solo piano-voice format. In November of the same year, he unveiled the resulting intimate and committed mini-album, entitled Postludes, as a return to basics. It features pieces from Chopin's 24 Preludes Op. 28, which echo Bachar's identity exile, as well as covers of Nirvana's Something in the Way and Christophe's Les Paradis perdus.
Known for the political commitment that is also evident in his music, he also covers the popular Arabic song Sawfa nabqa houna (We will stay here), whose message of resilience resonates strongly at a time when his native country is ravaged by crises and conflicts.
This album, which transcends aesthetics and eras, stands out for its sensitivity and emotional depth. This concert will also be imbued with the recurring oriental influences of his compositions, featuring Arabic refrains and songs in French.
