Metal and Comics

Among the sources of inspiration that allowed metal to exist, there are comics and comics. If several artists are proven consumers of comics (Scott Ian, Kirk Hammette), they have taken a singular place in metal iconography. From Alice Cooper's first dedicated comics to ' Metal Hurlant ' and then to the legion of comics and comics dedicated to the metal aesthetic, taking up different examples and historical elements, the presentation will address the links between comics and metal, while proposing to consult some comics related to this culture.

A practical workshop will also be offered on this theme. It is currently being programmed and will be the subject of a future communication.
