Requiem for Barbara of Bragança, Queen of Spain in 1758

This concert showcases the various requiem masses written for the funerals of Spanish monarchs in the 18th century, in the form of a grand musical procession, with Maria Barbara de Bragança, Queen of Spain in 1758, as the central figure.
This concert will provide an opportunity to discover Spanish composers from this transitional period, from Baroque to Classical, including Sebastian Duron, José de Nebra, José de Torres, Benet Julia and Melchor Lopez.
