But what if he started all over again? Starting from almost nothing, a single point, a minimal level. Observing, experimenting, searching for pataphysical solutions, that science of the particular that has made the exception its rule and paved the way for imaginary solutions...
From the very first words of Pas Grand Chose, we enter the mind of a rebellious lecturer who ‘seeks the path that does not lead to Rome’. From literal statements to mind-boggling ramblings, he tests and demonstrates, revealing the fruits of his experiments, which are as random and zany as they are essential and dizzying. With his hands on his slate and a camera overhead, he traces his demonstrations in chalk, which are shown on a large screen. We discover what a banana can do, the thousand ways to peel a clementine, and what happens when we look at the number zero in profile.
Rather taciturn in his previous circus shows, Johann Le Guillerm becomes talkative, scientific and philosophical here! But also clownish in his own way. His Buster Keaton-esque burlesque presence, fearless and dreamy, is simply exhilarating!
