Objective: Deepen our knowledge of the environment we live in and learn how to protect it.
Sites in Port-des-Barques (Écomusée, Madame Island, town center, natural area, historic buildings) focused on the coastline.
We go out and explore:
- Field trips (example: Madame Island and the Passe aux Filles)
- Introduction to recreational shore fishing / strandline exploration
- Observation of plants and animals
- Scientific experiments (water, tides, plankton, etc.)
- Educational carrelet...Objective: Deepen our knowledge of the environment we live in and learn how to protect it.

We go out and explore:

- Introduction to recreational shore fishing / strandline exploration
- Observation of plants and animals
- Scientific experiments (water, tides, plankton, etc.)
- Educational carrelet fishing
- Visits to local establishments (example: oyster huts / Écomusée, etc.)
Supervised by volunteers and staff from the Association, the program is built together with you.
Binoculars, microscopes, nets, buckets, scales, etc. are provided by the Écomusée.
Boots, warm and outdoor-appropriate clothing, good spirits, and curiosity should be brought with you.
Nature Club – Children / Youth – Ages 7 and up, teenagers welcome.
Adults may stay or leave their child.
Reservation required.
