2016 International Maritime Festival in Brest and stopover in St Malo
In 2016, the frigate Hermione once again left Rochefort to make way to St Malo and to participate to the International Maritime Festival in Brest.
In July, the frigate stops for a few days in the corsair town of St Malo, where it is greeted by the friagte l'Etoile du Roy and the Renard, a legendary sailboat.
A couple of days later, the very much awaited frigate Hermione finally arrives at the International Maritime Festival in Brest among many other incredible ships.
2018, from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean Sea
One of the frigate Hermione's missions is also to train people for trades in the maritime industry. As part of its partnership with the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF), in January 2018, the Hermione took on board up to 100 young people from Francophone countries as volunteer gabiers (sailors) for a trip to the Mediterrannean Sea.

These young people experienced many stopovers : Portugal, Marseille, Nice, Portimão, Bordeaux.
Once again, the public was there each time to greet the frigate at each stopover and were impatient to come on board of this famous ship. The frigate was even the special guest at the 5th edition of Escale à Sète, an International Maritime festival.
In June, after 120 days of navigation, the frigate Hermione was finally back in Rochefort, were its dearly missed. It is always a weird sight to see the empty dock of the ship in Rochefort when it is away.
2019, the replica of the Hermione sets sail for the Brittany and Normandy Coasts
In 2019, the Hermione placed her new journey under the sign of freedom - Normandie Liberté. The trip coincides with the 75th anniversary of D-Day or Normandy landings and this was the opportunity to participate in the Armada of Rouen in June.
Cherbourg, Dieppe, Ouistreham, St Nazaire, Nantes, Rouen... so many stopovers with a public always so excited to see the beautiful frigate.
In July 2019, the Hermione finally returned to its home port in Rochefort where it will stay for some time to prepare for its next big trip.

The Hermione remains in Rochefort in 2020 and 2021 and you can visit it every day at the heart of the Naval Dockyard of Rochefort.
September 8, 2021: she leaves to be put in dry dock in Bayonne, for repair work that should last about 6 months.
