At the Corderie Royale site in Rochefort, our restaurant welcomes you in a peaceful setting. Breathe in the fresh air of the Charente riverbanks on the terrace, or admire the bucolic panorama through the glass roof. The bistronomic cuisine, revealing the treasures of the region and French gastronomy, will delight your taste buds.

Take a seat at one of the tables along the magnificent glass roof. Watch the ballet of walkers under the tall trees on the riverbank, or turn your gaze to the immense park bordering the historic Corderie Royale building in Rochefort. Our menu showcases the best local produce: Pineau des Charentes, La Vache Charentaise cheeses, vegetables from the Brouage farm and natural oysters from the Marine d'Artouan farm. Even closer to home, herbs from the kitchen garden add flavour to each of our dishes. The restaurant is one of the few to offer JARNAN jonchée, the essential fresh cheese from the Rochefort region, whose production method dates back to the Middle Ages.

Our chef pulls out all the stops, with meticulous presentation. On sunny days, take a seat on the shaded terrace and guess the flavours of the cocktail of the week. A few chairs are scattered across the lawn, inviting you to soak up the calm of the surroundings even more. Everything comes to life, gently, during a guinguette evening or a concert.
