Beach cleaning

The Port des Barques Ecomuseum is organizing a major beach cleanup on Île Madame.

107 kilograms of waste were collected in December, a record to beat.

Audrey, a Natura 2000 facilitator, will be there to introduce us to the Sea Wrack, this specific coastal food chain full of treasures but polluted by microplastics.

Adults, families (children-friendly), come and join us in this coastal protection effort. Equipment, snacks, and good cheer will be provided. Be sure to bring sturdy shoes and a water bottle.

Meeting at 10 AM at the entrance of Île Madame (walk across the natural passage discovered at low tide).

You can let us know if you plan to come, which helps us with organization, but you are also welcome to join spontaneously :-)
