Brass, percussion and sea shanties concert

Sea shanties have been listed as Intangible Cultural Heritage since 2024.
This year, the group FORCE 5 (sea shanties) from Les Sables-d'Olonne will provide entertainment during the second half of the evening.
The group consists of eight members: singers, percussionists and passionate musicians.
Instruments: diatonic accordions, banjo, acoustic guitar, rhythm guitar, bouzouki, harmonica, mandolin, percussion, keyboard.
To date, FORCE 5 has performed numerous concerts and recorded five CDs.
We sing and play for our own enjoyment and are driven by the desire to share this enjoyment with others, with enthusiasm, cheerfulness and good humour.
We celebrate the songs that gave rhythm to hard work and dispelled melancholy in the days of sailing ships.
