[Musical Clown Theatre]
Two musicians take the stage—they’re ready for a grand concert: dressed up, warmed up, coiffed, costumed—everything seems set. This time, though, they want to improvise according to the mood of the moment. Then a sonic universe fills the space, a grain of sand jamming the gears, a strange interaction that dictates, complicates, creaks. Should they comply? A chaotic, burlesque and musical duo, built around eccentric, whimsical characters.

Serge & Caetera

“Serge & cætera” began in January 2021. To mark the 30th anniversary of Serge Gainsbourg’s death, this nine‑piece ensemble performs the two reggae albums Aux armes et cætera and Mauvaises nouvelles des étoiles live. A Gainsbarre memorial, Jamaican‑style!

Koko Loko
[Tropical Pop]
Feel the captivating rhythm of Koko Loko—an Afro‑Jazz‑Caribbean musical cocktail! Sailing between deep emotions and frenzied hip‑shaking, all elevated by the originality of the performers. Dive into their festive repertoire, carefully rearranged in “Koko style”, and let yourself be carried to unexplored musical horizons.

Interactive tour “Under the Seas” – 18:00
After the presentation of the Plongeur, the French Navy’s first submarine, families play a sound‑recognition game: who will identify the most underwater noises?

Escape Game “In the Hold of the Méduse” – 19:00
The frigate Méduse has run aground. Trapped in its hold for questioning the captain’s abilities, you must escape before the ship sinks! Race against time—work together to find clues, overcome obstacles, and break free!

18:30 – POTAGER DU ROY
Treat yourself to a peaceful break beneath the cherry tree in this calm, restful garden! Let yourself be carried away by extraordinary travel tales and set sail into unique musical or storytelling realms.

JOSEPH‑RENÉ BELLOT, HERO OF THE POLAR SEAS
In the mid‑19th century, Joseph‑René Bellot—a young man from La Rochelle of humble origins, with a thirst for adventure and glory—served in the Royal Navy on a mission that ultimately cost him his life. A somewhat forgotten hero, now ready to be rediscovered.
Musical reading with guide‑lecturer Maryse Vila‑Cornellas, accompanied by cellist Karine Delage.

ACCRO‑MATS
Accro‑Mâts is a unique European treetop ropes course aboard a ship, with routes climbing mast to mast up to 30 m high. During the Lundis de l’Arsenal, enjoy evening sessions with starts until 21:00 and close at 22:00.

LE RADE DE LA MÉDUSE
Right next to Accro‑Mâts, Le Rade de la Méduse is a charming summer guinguette—ideal for a refreshment or snack—with weekly concerts. On Arsenal Mondays, a DJ keeps the atmosphere going before and after the concerts for a festive evening by the masts.

LE CLOS
From 19:30, Le Clos opens its doors: meet, drink, dine, and enjoy the summer evening light in the courtyard of the former naval abattoirs. At 20:45, a free concert begins—open to all, in every style—carrying us into the night.
