Rendez-Vous in the Gardens: Trizay Abbey

- Sunday 4 June from 9am to 10.30am: Nature outing around bird songs
Isn't the most beautiful music in the garden the one offered by the birds with their songs and chirps...?
During a walk along the wooded paths near the abbey, in the company of a guide from the LPO, you will discover birds and their songs. Several stops are planned to listen to and identify the birds.
Don't forget to bring your hiking equipment adapted to the weather and the terrain! Binoculars and spotting scopes will be provided by the LPO.
Departure from the abbey car park. Duration 1h30. Reservation required.

- Sunday 4 June from 2.30 to 3.30 pm: The garden and nature as seen by medieval society.
Guided tour by a heritage mediator on the place of nature in the Middle Ages and the development of monastic gardens.
Through the eyes of medieval people, their beliefs and practices, you will discover the place of nature and the garden in medieval times and how man was an integral part of it. By focusing on the design of monastic gardens, we can see that the garden was more than a garden at that time; it was a true metaphor for the work of God. The most beautiful illustration of this is the Garden of Eden.

- Sunday 4 June from 11 am to 12.30 pm and from 4 pm to 5.30 pm: Sound journey
The power of sound to promote well-being, for a reconnection to the present moment. The sound journey plunges you little by little, body and mind, into a state of semi-consciousness and inner silence in order to recharge your batteries and relax thanks to the sounds that allow a moment of escape and letting go. The facilitator of the session will guide you in this sound journey through various instruments: cymbals/tingsha, gong, Tibetan bowls, crystal bowl, crystal pyramid, shamanic drum, ocean drum, chimes, shakers, drum/tong, koshis. The sound journey will take place in a corner of the medieval garden of Trizay Abbey. Reservation required.
