At the age of six, barely able to read and write, he is preparing to give a retrospective account of the significant events of his short life.
In a child's bedroom setting, a joyful bric-a-brac made of toys and cleverly cobbled together musical machines, he first recalls his birth, a rather confusing memory for him. Then he recounts the epic tale of his stay in crèche, this social world that was both harsh and festive. At nursery school, the very nebulous notion of work appeared in his life. Everything is punctuated by its share of disturbing family events, such as the birth of his little sister, which revives the memory of his early youth. A clever ploy helps him immortalize his precious memories: songs.
David Lescot's theatrical writing blends with music to compose a play full of humor, mischievous and captivating. In his shows for young audiences, he very accurately succeeds in the risky challenge of writing at a child's level and transforms the banality of everyday life into extraordinary adventures. With this family show, the world of toddlers will no longer have any secrets for you!
