Every other month, on a Friday evening, Mafiore and Le Clos invite a local artist: slam, poetry, stand-up, rap, theatre... anything goes!

On Friday 19 December, we welcome Christine Kunz from Slamalamer.
For 20 years, professional slam poet Christine Kunz has been leading writing workshops and collective projects in La Rochelle and the surrounding region. Her boundless energy, natural and spontaneous joie de vivre, and human sensitivity and empathy make her a creative and radiant slam poet. She can be seen regularly at the open mic nights she organises in La Rochelle with La Maison de l'Afrique et des Caraïbes, in partnership with Slam Action, as well as at La Cave à Son's. Her sensitivity also takes her into the realm of music, as in her duo ‘La basse à voix haute’ with Frank Nelson.

Doors open at 7.30pm to enjoy refreshments and food provided by Clos volunteers (seasonal, local and/or organic produce), event starts at 8.30pm.
