Show: Traces of scenes...of paintings

The art gallery becomes a place for dialogue between pictorial art and theatrical expression. The troupe offers a mix of perspectives and interpretations, incorporating the museum's works, based on texts by two contemporary French authors.
Denise Bonal (1921-2011) is a playwright who features heavily in the Epithe'âtre's repertoire, notably with her play Pas Perdus, performed in 2008-2009. She masters the art of allowing us to imagine the hidden side of characters and situations in the same way a painter would.
Jean Christophe Bailly (1949) is a writer, poet and playwright who inspires the Epithe'âtre with his interdisciplinary approach to painting and theatre. The troupe took on the text ‘Une Nuit à la bibliothèque’ (A Night at the Library) in 2008.
