Part One: ROCK ELECTRO SCHOOL
The musicians of Rock Electro School explored the influences and repertoire of the band So Lune, offering a fresh and unexpected concert, true to the spirit of Le Labo.
PART TWO:
So Lune continues to impress us. The brother/sister duo composed of Romane (singer/cellist) and Joseph Beaugrand (beatmaker) breaks the mould
with music that oscillates between electro-pop, trip-hop and hip-hop sounds. On stage, So Lune develops an energy that is both supernatural and poetic, endlessly captivating with tracks that are very different from one another, offering the possibility to travel, even escape, in a unique way.
To maintain their autonomy and artistic freedom, this young group from Périgord has chosen to self-produce. This was an obvious choice for Joseph, a self-taught and somewhat geeky musician who built a rehearsal/recording studio from scratch and taught himself sound engineering and mixing on the job. This approach allows them to understand the musical ecosystem in a very different way, completely independently. Inspired by artists such as The Dø, Camille and Lauryn Hill, So Lune's artistic project requires a huge personal investment and long research sessions in order to deliver the best of their experiments to the public.
